Poplar removal in Ecclesall, Sheffield

We carried out a project in Ecclesall, removing a previously pollarded lomardii poplar from a garden.

The tree was sited right next to the boundary, between a mature beech tree and a maple, so the removal had to be planned and controlled to avoid damage to the surrounding trees.

The situation of the trees left no other option than to use rigging equipment to safely lower all the pollard points away from the targets below. From there we sectionally dismantled all of the remaining timber.

All the branchwood and timber was removed from site leaving the garden in a clean and tidy state.
